Creamy butter pairs with sweet maraschino cherries in this whipped cherry butter – the best thing to happen to dinner rolls and biscuits!
Ingredient
1 cup unsalted butter room temperature
¼ cup powdered sugar
pinch of fine sea salt
½ teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
¼ teaspoon almond extract
¼ cup chopped maraschino cherries
Instruction
Beat butter for 3 minutes in a large basin with an electric mixer until light and creamy. After adding powdered sugar, beat for 2 minutes.

Add salt and extracts and mix well. Fold maraschino cherries into butter with a rubber spatula until evenly distributed.

Cover butter in a small basin and refrigerate for several hours. Butter should be room temperature before serving.
