Set your oven to 350°F and butter and flour a 13x9-inch pan. Mix milk and lemon juice in a small cup or glass and leave aside.
Mash bananas in another basin and set aside. Cream butter and sugars with an electric mixer until completely blended.
Slowly add eggs, mixing well after each addition. Mix flour, baking powder, soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Mix bananas with butter, sugar, and eggs.
Now add the flour mixture alternating with the milk and lemon juice mix until well combined, scraping down the edges.
Put the batter in the baking pan and bake. Bake the cake for 45–55 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. After baking, let the cake cool before icing.
To make frosting- Mix cream cheese, butter, vanilla, and a bit of salt using an electric mixer. Add powdered sugar slowly, mixing between additions, until all is added.
After cooling, uniformly coat the cake with icing. You can add fresh banana on top before serving!
